Why we created it

Every great discovery begins with a question

At school, children spend much of their time learning facts for exams. They get far fewer chances to test an idea of their own and find out what happens.

Einstein Curiosity gives them that chance. Over six weeks, your child will ask questions, carry out investigations and build simple prototypes. The sessions are led by scientists and professionals from the creative industries, whom we have chosen for this program.

What your child will take away

  • The habit of asking questions and looking for evidence before reaching an answer.
  • A first experience of how scientists investigate a problem.
  • Practice in solving problems with their hands as well as on paper.
  • The confidence to try an idea, see it fail, and improve it.
  • A clearer picture of careers in science, technology and the creative industries.
